Joey Miller is a producer, engineer, and composer. He grew up in central Indiana playing drums and experimenting with electronic music composition from a young age. As an instrumentalist, Joey has appeared on national stages with organizations such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Tournament of Roses, and Bands of America. Where his true skills enter frame, however, is in the detail-oriented processes of composition, production, and organizational management. Joey has produced two compilations’ worth of original electronic music, engineered several recording sessions in a wide variety of genres, and worked at the executive level with large-scale media organizations such as WIUX.
Joey pursued a degree in Information Systems at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and later entered the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music to study Audio Engineering and Sound Production, complete with a minor in Music Scoring for Visual Media and a concentration in Electronic Music. He additionally enjoys cooking as well as the occasional deep dive into different genres of Japanese rhythm game music.
